#TeamTUSD: Christina and Rachel Castro
Christina and Rachel Castro smile together in the hallway at RobinsWhen Robins K-8 4th grade teacher Rachel Castro first started dating her now-husband back in high school, she had no idea she’d end up working alongside her future mother-in-law down the line. Christina Castro, who is a school monitor, has worked at Robins for 11 years now, starting just a couple of years before her daughter-in-law joined the staff. The pair love being able to see each other in the hallways and having the occasional catch-up chat.

“I really do love working alongside her,” Rachel said. “And it’s nice because I tell my students my mother-in-law is one of the monitors, so we better be showing respect to her.”
